Eastman Chemical Company recently announced the expansion of its hydrogenated hydrocarbon resins facility in Middelburg, The Netherlands. It is the third expansion of the company's Regalite™ hydrogenated hydrocarbon resins facilities.
According to the company, the Middelburg tackifier resin plant produces a range of hydrocarbon resins, rosin resins, and dispersions.
"The additional capacity will increase our capability to meet the market's growing needs and assure customers (a) reliable supply now and in the future," commented Rien Jonker, site manager at the Middelburg site.
Eastman's Regalite hydrogenated hydrocarbon resins are used in a variety of polymer compounds and plastic modifications.
